A LETTER FROM ANOTHER VICTIM OF RAPHAEL HOLOMAN-FRANKLIN, WHO KNEW RAFE WHEN HE LIVED IN ENGLAND

It happens from time to time that we receive a letter from someone out of Raphael Holoman-Franklin's past. The following is such a letter, from a victim in England, where Raphael lived in the late 80's, the second English victim to contact us. (See the posted list of known victims on this blog to get an idea of what kind of man Holoman-Franklin is.) Master of a fake "gentleman", religious and politically concerned persona, he's been deceiving, using, and scamming people and institutions for years: students, landlords, the infirm, churches, and, apparently, hotels as well. That he would stay in expensive lodgings without paying fits in perfectly with our experiences with him in Cambridge, MA 2008/2009. He's pretentious, grandiose, self entitled, and delusional. He's graduated from important colleges who never heard of him, has worked for companies that never heard of him or which are fabricated by him, and is "British" (actually born as Hosea Franklin in Rossville, TN), with a fake accent and an equally fake Jamaican doctor-mother from an "old English family" who owns townhouses in London and New York City. When victims make their stories public, Rafey puts on his best saintly, wounded gentleman face and tells people that he's the victim of a conspiracy fomented by irrational people. DO NOT RENT TO THIS MAN OR HIRE HIM. IF YOU KNOW THOSE WHO DO, PLEASE DIRECT THEM TO OUR BLOGS. Holoman-Franklin has been scamming and stealing for years, and he isn't going to stop. His sickness runs deep.

I've just encountered your blog about Raphael, which pretty much accords with his behaviour in England c 1985 - 1991? I met him on a theology course run by All Souls Church, Langham Place, London. I later discovered that Raphael never paid the fees. In London I supported him with money and at one time I would have said he was my best friend! Though I clearly never knew him! He later stayed with me in Bedford until the police and immigration officials came hunting for him. He stayed with me again in Bedford while he was on remand and awaiting trial for fraud (I visited him at Brixton Prison in London). Our friendship deteriorated rapidly and when he left for his trial he stole one of my suits - my only suit as far as I remember! I had been informed that he had been staying in expensive hotels without paying both in London and abroad - Switzerland, I think. I presume he was deported after that.

In London Raphael worked his way from the Church of England into the Catholic Church (Heythrop College and the Jesuit home at Farm Street).

I am very sorry to hear that he has become so desperate that he has taken to falsely accusing others. It is right that he is exposed.

The last contact I had with him was a year or two back when he was campaigning for Obama and I came across him through a web-search. We exchanged a few emails and then he mentioned he was going on a retreat...
